Kicking over the traces…
For 2024, I’ve begun to explore the body in a new way. I completed a dance teacher training course and am now teaching my first cohorts of adult learners with MyCharleston. I don’t have any formal dance history, so the learning curve is interesting. It’s fascinating to observe the difference between my longstanding impulse to organic movement and the more structured discipline of even this, very vernacular, dance form.
